On the 19th (local time), Taiwanese media outlet ET Today reported that 7-Eleven Taiwan is adjusting its marketing schedule for new product collaborations with Kim Soohyun. Previously, 7-Eleven had planned to release fresh food items, coffee cups, and cup sleeves featuring the actor.
Event organizer President Enterprises stated, “The current plans remain unchanged and will proceed as scheduled,” adding, “Since the tickets were given out for free, attendees will not be able to request discounts, transfers, exchanges, resales, or refunds even if the event is altered or canceled.”
However, public sentiment in Taiwan has turned against Kim Soohyun, leading to a surge in refund demands. The Taiwanese Consumer Protection Agency has stated that refunds are unlikely, as the event is a festival rather than a private concert.
