The average life expectancy of both men and women among domestic life insurance subscribers has increased by more than two years compared to five years ago. The average life expectancy of women exceeded 90 years for the first time in history.

According to the Insurance Development Institute on the 7th, […] the average life expectancy for men was 86.7 years and for women was 90.7 years, an increase of 2.8 years and 2.2 years, respectively, compared to five years ago.

Life expectancy is the average number of years a person born at age 0 is expected to survive in the future.

Life expectancy at age 65 was 23.7 (additional) years for men and 27.1 years for women, an increase of 2.3 years and 1.9 years, respectively, compared to the 9th empirical life table. After retirement, preparing insurance for retirement medical expenses and income security is expected to become more important.
