[theqoo] LEE JEHOON, DEDICATES DAESANG TROPHY TO THE LATE LEE SUN KYUN “FOLLOW MY ROLE MODEL… REST IN PEACE IN HEAVEN” (FT. MEMORIAL)

Actor Lee Jehoon, who won the Daesang prize at the SBS Drama Awards, has dedicated his award to the late actor Lee Sun Kyun, who passed away while under investigation for drug use.

“I want to give this award to him,” Lee Jehoon paid tribute to Lee Sun Kyun at the ‘2023 SBS Drama Awards’ broadcast on the 29th.

On the same day, Lee Jehoon won a joint Daesang prize for “Taxi Driver 2” with Kim Taeri for “Revenant”.

At the end of his acceptance speech, Lee Jehoon said, “It’s also a painful day. We didn’t have a connection trough a project and only had fleeting moments together, but I think I developed a dream of becoming an actor by watching the path he walked, and I thought a lot about wanting to be like him, and I tried to follow him as a role model,” he said.

“I want to give this award to him, and I hope he is comfortable and happy in heaven,” he added, expressing his heartfelt condolences.

Lee Sun Kyun passed away on the 27th.

1. Role model?

2. This is disappointing. I was looking forward to the next season of Taxi Driver

3. I feel like he lacked tact for saying this so openly like that. Does he have nothing to say about Taxi Driver? Why say all this bullsh*t during your acceptance speech?..

4. Role model ㅎ… ha…

5. Isn’t season 2 of Taxi Driver about people doing drugs in room salons and pr*st*t*t*on too? So this makes his speech even more ridiculous

6. Seems like going to room salons in the celebrity world is no big deal. I can see what kind of world that is now

7. There’s seriously such a big dissonance between the non-celebrity and the celebrity worldㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

8. Not surprised

9. I seriously hate this… I liked Lee Jehoon but I’m so disappointed

10. Seriouslyㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ he threw away his entire image in Taxi Driver

[theqoo] SBS DRAMA AWARD’S MEMORIAL FOR LEE SUN KYUN

“They ended it with a memorial for the late Lee Sun Kyun-nim”

Rest in peace

1. No but he didn’t do drugs and the pr*st*t*t*on charges were never confirmed so why are there so many kids talking as if everything was real?

2. He did commit a sin but not a sin that deserved death. It’s not like he was caught in some coercion investigation or something. They have all the rights to commemorate him

3. The celebrity industry is really living in another world

4. So we’re beautifying room salons nowㅎ

5. When the real victim Jang Jayeon passed away, they never commemorate her like this. But an actor who committed su*c*de due to his shameful scandals is being commemorated on TV as if he saved the country. Everything is just so ridiculous

6. So people are now defending him saying that nothing was true huh

7. Is claiming that someone went to a VIP room salon without pr*st*t*t*on a valid sentence?

8. I only pity Jun Hyejin. F*ck, this is so f*cked up. As if the affair wasn’t enough..

9. They are all crazy..ㅋㅋㅋㅋ am I in a hidden camera?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

10. Wow seriously, the whole world is doing a hidden camera on me
