Singer and actress Nana has once again called out THE BOYZ member Sunwoo, who is embroiled in a personality controversy.
Recently, Nana left a comment saying “He needs to be scolded” on a video about Sunwoo’s attitude controversy uploaded to an online community, drawing attention.
Afterward, some of Sunwoo’s fans began leaving malicious comments on Nana’s personal social media. Sunwoo’s fans criticized her, saying things like “Did you think it was a private account? Apologize and disappear,” and “Shut up and mind your own business.”
However, Nana stuck firmly to her stance. When one fan said, “Judging a person based on just a few seconds of a short video and leaving that kind of comment as a public figure is really disappointing and thoughtless. You’re a senior in the entertainment industry. You should know better than to go around leaving careless comments when you know how painful these things can be,” Nana responded, “See one and you’ve seen them all,” indirectly calling out Sunwoo’s wrong behavior.
Previously, Sunwoo got caught up in a controversy over his attitude after a video of him leaving a radio broadcast was released. In the video, after getting into an elevator, he shouted “My AirPods!” toward the outside. A security guard behind him picked them up and handed them over, but Sunwoo simply accepted them with one hand and didn’t appear to offer proper thanks, sparking backlash.
Later, Sunwoo addressed the situation on a fan communication platform, saying, “Everyone kept talking about the AirPods, so I watched the video wondering ‘what is it about?’ and I could see how it looked like I didn’t say thank you and was impolite.” He continued, “A fan shouted something, and I was confused because I didn’t know what had fallen. Once I realized it was my AirPods, I looked around to find them but couldn’t, and when they were handed to me, I said ‘thank you’ without bowing. I understand how it could be seen that way.”
He added, “Even when people hold the door for me from behind, I always make sure to say ‘thank you’ and I greet people well. Don’t worry~^^”
He also said, “I can’t keep explaining everything every time something happens, but since it was my fault that it came across that way, I acknowledge it. But I’m always polite and greet people properly, like the cleaning staff at music shows, so I’ll keep behaving in a way that prevents misunderstandings like this.”
