The court did not recognize any of the reasons claimed by the NewJeans members for terminating their exclusive contracts.
The members raised concerns including:
– Worries about a production void following the dismissal of former CEO Min Heejin
– Former HYBE CEO Park Jiwon’s statement that “NewJeans members would be given a long vacation”
– The dispute between director Shin Woo-seok of Dolphin Kidnappers and ADOR
– The phrase “Just abandon ‘New’ and start over” included in HYBE’s May 10, 2023 brand report”
– BELIFT LAB’s girl group ILLIT allegedly attempting to undermine NewJeans’ unique identity and replace them
– NewJeans member Hanni allegedly being told “Ignore her” by a BELIFT LAB manager
– Leaked photos and videos of NewJeans members from their trainee days
– HYBE PR staff making remarks that downplayed NewJeans’ achievements
– HYBE’s alleged album “chart manipulation” practices leading to an undervaluation of NewJeans’ success
– HYBE and ADOR’s alleged retaliatory audit against former CEO Min, which created negative public sentiment toward NewJeans
– HYBE CSO (now CEO) Lee Jaesang allegedly stating that “harming NewJeans’ brand value and taking down both Min Heejin and NewJeans is an option being considered”
These were the issues raised by the members.
1. Has there been a sunbae group in history that grabbed the hair of their junior group like that? They sure are good sunbaesㅋㅋㅋ
2. The fact that none of this was acknowledged is impressive. At this rate, I hope they learn more about this world

4. That’s why a contract is so scary, printed letters have no feelings, kids… Please take this opportunity to learn
5. Is it because the kids are so young and only trusted their parents?

7. I can’t support you guys anymore
