[theqoo] NOTICE ABOUT BOY GROUP TO1’S CONTRACT RENEWAL

In a significant turn of events, it has been officially announced that WAKEONE’s boy group TO1 will be disbanding at the end of the year. 

On December 17th at midnight KST, WAKEONE announced that TO1 will be disbanding as all members’ exclusive contracts will come to an end on December 31st, 2023. 

The label wrote: “Hello, this is WAKEONE. First of all, we sincerely thank TOOGETHER for loving and supporting TO1. After much thorough discussion, members Dongeon, Chan, Jisu, Jaeyun, J.You, Kyungho, Daigo, and Yeojeong have collectively decided not to renew their exclusive contracts with us and their contracts will come to an end on December 31st, 2023. 

We are both grateful and sorry to TOOGETHER who have been supporting and loving TO1. We ask for your continued support for the members who will embark on a new journey other than TO1, and we sincerely are cheering on them for their future endeavors.

We thank TOOGETHER once again for supporting TO1.”

1. It’s my first time hearing about them today and they are disbanding???

2. If they were gonna disband them, why even make them into a group? Ridiculous
