Actor Park Sunghoon’s agency BH Entertainment has once again spoken out regarding the controversy surrounding the upload of a Japanese AV cover.
On the 31st, a BH representative told Star News, “Yesterday, we mentioned that the upload occurred due to a malfunction while checking a DM. We would like to explain this in more detail,” providing a second clarification.
BH explained, “Park Sunghoon received the Japanese AV cover via DM. Upon determining it could be problematic, he forwarded it to the compan’s representative. He downloaded the photo, saved it, and sent it to the representative, but after that, he mistakenly uploaded it instead of deleting it.”
One might question why a 39-year-old adult man, not a child, would need to pass on p*** content from his personal SNS DM to his company’s representative. BH responded, “It seems that he decided to send it because there was a lot of unusual content circulating regarding his work, and he thought it might cause issues.”
Earlier, on the 30th, Park Sunghoon uploaded a group poster of Japanese AV actresses engaging in sexual acts while wearing costumes from the Netflix original series Squid Game 2.

BH Entertainment quickly responded to the incident, less than 30 minutes after it occurred. The agency explained it was a “mistake,” with a BH representative telling Star News, “Park Sunghoon receives a lot of DMs, and while checking them, this image came up. He accidentally pressed the share button. He was very shocked and acknowledged the mistake, apologizing.”
Furthermore, BH was questioned, “Isn’t checking DMs and posting on Instagram stories a separate process? Can an image be uploaded just by checking DMs?” They replied, “If you tap the DM window, it could be uploaded to Instagram Stories.”
