[theqoo] (RUMORS) NETFLIX’S SQUID GAME UNIVERSE’S WORLDVIEW EXPANSION PLANㄷㄷㄷㄷ

Whether it’s true or just a rumor remains uncertain.

There have been articles suggesting a U.S. spinoff, with David Fincher reportedly being considered as the director.

While some are calling it Squid Game America, the title mentioned in some places is Squid Game USA.

There are also mentions of Squid Game World, Squid Game 1987, and Squid Game 28th??. It’s unclear if these are real or fake.

Given Netflix’s position, it’s understandable that they would find it hard to let go of such a valuable IP.

+++ The image itself is likely a fake, according to some sources.

However, director Hwang Donghyuk has mentioned that while Squid Game will conclude with Season 3, he has considered spinoffs.

Director Hwang stated, “Season 3 will indeed be the finale. I’ve told all the stories I wanted to tell through this series, so continuing beyond that doesn’t feel meaningful at this point. I want to clarify that Season 3 will mark the finale of this series.”

He added, “I have thought about potential spin-offs or side stories. I remember mumbling to myself, ‘Wouldn’t it be fun to explore this character’s story?'” leaving some room for future possibilities.

1. Wow

2. Ohh… a worldwide expansion would be nice

3. Will Korean actors be in it? I hope so

4. But usually, if a series does well overseas, they would even go to season 7 and 7… Even if it’s milking it, things that do well will always have an audienceㅋㅋ

5. I hope it hits bigger

6. I don’t know if we’ll get to explore Lee Byunghun’s past in Season 3 so if not, it’d be nice to get a spin-off

7. That’s their best hit so it’s a shame if everything ends after S3

8. I’m looking forward to Squid Game USA. I wonder what kind of makjang they’ll make

9. The fact that this series is from our country is… impressive

10. I think that it would be fun to see each country’s traditional game
