[theqoo] SM, HEARTS2HEARTS WHO DEBUTED 3 DAYS AGO, TAKE LEGAL ACTIONS AGAINST RUMORS “NO LENIENCY”

SM Entertainment has taken a firm stand against baseless rumors about their new rookie girl group, Hearts2Hearts.

On the 26th, SM Entertainment released an official statement, saying, “We have confirmed that false information, malicious defamation, and posts that include slander about our artist Hearts2Hearts are being posted and spread. We have started legal proceedings to address this matter.”

They continued, “Fabricating false information or spreading groundless rumors based on unverified facts is a clear illegal act. We will respond strictly to such unlawful actions without any leniency or settlement. We will continue to do our utmost to protect our artists.”

Meanwhile, Hearts2Hearts, consisting of members Carmen, Jiwoo, Yuha, Stella, Jooeun, Eyna, Ian, and Yeon, made their debut on the 24th with their first single, “The Chase.”
