We would like to provide an update on the legal actions being taken regarding malicious posts and comments related to our artist aespa, including defamation, insults, and sexual harassment.
Through reports from fans and our own monitoring, we have collected evidence of harmful posts and comments about aespa. Based on this, we have filed a lawsuit on charges of insult, defamation, and the distribution of edited and false videos, and legal proceedings are ongoing.
Several individuals have been identified among the accused, and investigations are underway. Some of them have been referred to the prosecutor’s office, and we would like to inform you that they have received final court decisions as follows:

– Case Name: Violation of the Special Act on the Punishment of S***al Violence Crimes (Distribution of False Videos, etc.)
– Distribution Medium: Telegram
– Disposition Result: Summary Order (Fine)

We will continue to take strong actions and measures against those who post malicious content, videos, images, etc., targeting aespa, both domestically and internationally.
