The YouTube channel TakDulSooYongSo (Sojang), which has been accused of indiscriminately spreading false rumors about several female celebrities, including IVE’s Jang Wonyoung and aespa’s Karina, has complained of emotional distress after having its information blinded.

The organization’s legal representative, Law Firm Daehan, has blinded its NamuWiki page with information related to the controversy.

“As a duly authorized representative of the operator of Sojang, we would like to request temporary measures and deletion of the documents posted on her (NamuWiki) site,” the firm said. “The page contains a lot of information about the identity of the operator of Sojang, which has caused the operator to suffer extreme leakage of personal information and invasion of privacy.”

“Therefore, the sender (Law Firm Daehan) requests that they take appropriate measures to remove the post and prevent related posts with the same or similar content from being created again.”

The NamuWiki page is currently unavailable due to the request of the detention center and her legal counsel.

Regarding the appeal, Starship Entertainment said on March 6, “We are continuing to pursue the case against Sojang to the end without settlement,” and “we will make an official statement once the outcome of the case is known.”
