[theqoo] THE BOYZ SUNWOO’S REPS “REFLECTING ON CHARACTER CONTROVERSY, STRONG LEGAL ACTION AGAINST MALICIOUS COMMENTS”

As The Boyz member Sunwoo is embroiled in controversy over his character, the agency issued an official apology.

The agency One Hundred stated in an official statement on the 13th, “We sincerely apologize for failing to properly manage the issues related to our artist’s character.”

They continued, “We are also deeply aware that Sunwoo’s appearance in the video could lead to character controversy issues. Furthermore, Sunwoo is also taking time to reflect calmly after communicating with us.”

They emphasized, “However, the situation is unfolding differently than how we and the artist are reflecting, which is unfortunate. We deeply regret that we were not more proactive in managing before such incidents occurred and that the artist acted unwisely.”

Additionally, One Hundred stated, “The character controversy regarding Sunwoo is entirely the company’s oversight, and the artist is also in a state of reflection regarding aspects he had not recognized until now. We, One Hundred, will do our best to ensure that such oversights are not repeated in the future based on communication with our artists.”

However, regarding malicious comments that exceed the limits, we have taken a stance to respond strongly through legal means in order to protect the artist.

Earlier, Sunwoo was involved in controversy after he dropped his earphones while getting into an elevator and shouted, “My earphones,” after a bodyguard immediately rushed over to pick up the earphones and handed them over with both hands, and he accepted them with one hand.

The following is the full official statement from One Hundred.

Hello, this is One Hundred.

We are well aware of the situation regarding the recent controversy surrounding The Boyz’s member Sunwoo that has been occurring over the past few days in the media and various communities.

First and foremost, we sincerely apologize for failing to properly manage the issues related to our artist’s character.

We are also deeply aware that Sunwoo’s appearance in the video could lead to character controversy issues. Furthermore, Sunwoo was also taking time to reflect calmly after communicating with us.

However, we find it unfortunate that the situation is unfolding differently than how we and the artist are reflecting. We deeply regret that we were not more proactive in managing before such incidents occurred and that the artist acted unwisely.

All of our artists must be protected and managed by the company. This character controversy regarding Sunwoo is entirely the company’s oversight, and the artist is in a state of reflection on aspects he had not recognized until now. We, One Hundred, will do our best to ensure that such oversights are not repeated in the future based on communication with our artists. Once again, we sincerely apologize.

Finally, the emergence of baseless malicious comments in relation to this incident is an issue that cannot be overlooked for the protection of the artist. We would like to inform you that we are preparing a strong legal response regarding this matter.

Thank you.

1. I don’t think he’s reflecting though

2. Reflecting?ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Every clarification posts he made just broke his image even more and showed his true characterㅋ

3. A substitute apologyㅎ He’s not reflecting and he’s just asking his fans to take his side

4. Who wrote this? This is an official statement but it’s so poorly written

5. I hope that Nana sues his fans soon ^^

6. But wasn’t he the one who made this controversy?

7. I’m not joking. I don’t like him but I feel like it’s been way too overblown. Everyone should just restrain themselves

8. Manage his fans a bit too

9. Nana’s getting severe hate though. I hope that they can limit his pick-me’s a bit…ㅜㅜ

10. No but they should’ve asked AI to write this instead…
