Hello, this is the family of the late Kim Saeron.

We, as the family, have carefully reviewed and reflected on the first statement issued by Gold Medalist along with the attorneys from the prominent law firm, in order to minimize the damage caused to both the actress and the company from both a legal and ethical perspective.

Their statement reads as if it was written entirely from a legal team’s point of view, focusing solely on evidence and how to justify the situation. Just because Kim Soohyun or the agency denies the existence of a love letter, does that mean the public should believe the same?

Do you truly believe that the legal team’s approach, which insists on pushing the matter despite the contents of the letter, is right? The statement claiming that they’ve paid off debts and handled the losses in order to protect Saeron shows that it was written solely from the legal team’s perspective.

Has Gold Medalist filed a complaint or charge of breach of trust against Kim Soohyun or CEO Lee? Is that why they sent a certified mail notifying her that if the 700 million won isn’t paid within 1 year and 1 month, they would take legal action?

Please stop making childish moves by invoking breach of trust in an attempt to justify their actions. No one at Gold Medalist ever told Sae-ron that they were sending the certified mail as part of company procedures due to breach of trust.

After receiving the certified mail, Saeron tried to contact company officials repeatedly, but no one answered or responded. Saeron continued to reach out in an attempt to confirm whether this was the will of Kim Soohyun or the company.

After endless neglect, the photo she posted to attract attention was mocked by YouTuber Lee Jin-ho, who called it a self-made “love photo” and posted a video and thumbnail making fun of it.

“Why does actress Kim Sae-ron keep facing these rumors?” This was Lee Jin-ho’s thumbnail. He started his broadcast by saying, “Why does the noise around her never stop?”

Entering a house with no one present, making a mess, and then asking people why the house is so dirty is almost the behavior of a mentally unstable person. Furthermore, he claimed that Sae-ron learned about society through scripts and filming sets from childhood and lacked common emotional understanding, even denying the existence of her perfectly normal family.

He also claimed that Sae-ron was full of foul language, a typical example of being weak in front of those more powerful than her, and rude to staff. Lee Jin-ho, who did you learn journalism from to not verify facts and broadcast your personal thoughts and misinterpretations as truth? Are you the one who lacks basic human decency and empathy?

Many people from the film and drama industries came to pay their respects at Sae-ron’s funeral, including the assistant director from the movie Traveler, bodyguards from when she did stage greetings, and numerous staff members from various fields who quietly worked behind the scenes in movies and dramas.

This is in stark contrast to Gold Medalist, which did not send anyone to the funeral of their founding member and first recruited actor. I can introduce you to some of the actual staff who visited the funeral, would you like to interview them?

“Kim Saeron’s teary café part-time job, reason for suspicion of insincerity.” This is another thumbnail posted by Lee Jin-ho. He claimed that Sae-ron was working at a café and suggested that the possibility of her actually working part-time was low, stating that her acquaintances didn’t know about it and it wasn’t confirmed. He continued saying the reason for the noise around her was because she gained fame and money but lacked discipline and caused an accident while indulging herself.

Who were those acquaintances? Does Saeron need to announce to everyone around her if she works part-time? Perhaps Lee Jin-ho didn’t know them because they weren’t actually Sa-ron’s acquaintances, but yours instead? Even the journalist Choi Jung-ah from Sports World mentioned that she had a biased opinion due to Lee Jin-ho’s erroneous articles.

Saeron worked hard to continue her life, regardless of whether she appeared on broadcasts. Has your family earned money and peace by framing her with the false part-time job narrative?

He claimed this was done to boast to her friends about her success, and suggested that her actions were due to her impulsiveness and instability.

Who is this “acquaintance” of hers? The reasons you’re giving make no sense. After receiving certified mail and continuously being ignored by Kim Soo-hyun and Gold Medalist, Saeron’s decision to make contact was the last reasonable choice, and her friends knew this.

So who is this person who claims they don’t understand these reasons? Are you saying in your mind that Lee Jinho and his imaginary acquaintance are the same person? What part of your statements is actually based on facts? After making such claims, do you really believe that your family believes you were trying to help Saeron? Would you be willing to show your family the broadcast and let them interview you to see if they think it was right to say these things?
