This is Kim Riwon from To Get Her.

First, I would like to sincerely and deeply apologize to the cast members who appeared on the show with me, the production staff, those around me who cared for me, and all the viewers who watched the show, for causing concern and discomfort.

Before any further harm is done, I want to speak the truth myself and offer my apology.

From 2016 for about two years, from November 2021 to March 2022 for about four months, and from February to September 2024 for about seven months, I conducted private content broadcasts over a total period of approximately three years.

Additionally, during my broadcasting activities, I went on six dinner dates. All of these meetings were strictly proper meals with no physical contact involved. To prove this, I made sure to broadcast on those days and kept records.

Regardless of my personal circumstances, I sincerely apologize for appearing on the program without informing the production team of this past, driven by my own selfishness, and in doing so causing disappointment and pain to many people.

I would also like to speak about my orientation.

I am a woman who loves women.

I first became aware of my orientation in middle school, and my first relationship was a serious one with a woman that lasted for two and a half years.

However, due to a desire to deny myself, I have also dated both women and men.

Until June 2024, I was in a long-term relationship with a woman, and in August, still struggling with denial, I dated a man.

At first, he helped by organizing my broadcast videos, but whenever I wanted to end things, he threatened to out me to my acquaintances and family. I experienced threats, physical a***ult, confinement, hacking, and even d**th threats.

In a situation where it was difficult to end the relationship, I applied to the program with a desperate desire to come out on my own terms rather than be outed by someone else.

After the initial meeting, we met again for about two weeks, but since the beginning of this year, there has been no further relationship.

I have hired a lawyer and am currently preparing a lawsuit.

It is true, without excuse, that I once conducted inappropriate broadcasts and that I dated a man before filming began.

I now have a different profession and believed that all traces of those past broadcasts had been erased.

With the selfish desire to finally accept myself as a lesbian, I chose to appear on the program.

As a result, I ended up damaging the show and causing harm to the cherished cast members and production team. For this, I am truly and deeply sorry.

The cast and crew had absolutely no knowledge of my past and are, in fact, victims in this situation.

I am also deeply sorry for tarnishing the significance of being part of Korea’s first lesbian dating program.

It breaks my heart and I am sincerely sorry if my actions have caused any further prejudice against the LGBTQ+ community.

Everything that happened stems from my own selfishness and inappropriate past.

The entire LGBTQ+ community, the people involved in the show, and the viewers are all victims.

All responsibility lies solely with me.

Once again, I deeply apologize to everyone I have hurt.

I am truly sorry.
