The music domination continues for TWICE this June!
JYP Entertainment’s prized female nonet TWICE definitely owns the spotlight this June as they have been hailed as the current leading K-pop girl group.
According to the recently released data from the Korean Business Research Institute, TWICE, Oh My Girl, and BLACKPINK prevailed as the leading female acts for the month.
The rankings are based on various factors including consumer participation, media, communication, and community indices analyzed by the organization. Particularly, it extracted a total of 65,141,220 pieces of data among numerous girl groups from May 12 to June 13.
After seeing an impressive 34.47 percent increase in their score since May, Asia’s top girl group TWICE secured the No.1 spot this month. Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu obtained the glorious seat with a brand reputation index of 5,328,644.
Some of the high-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis are their “album”, “Billboard”, and “performance”. The words such as “controversy”, “enter”, and “grow” are likewise present as the girls’ high-ranking related terms.
#2 OH MY GIRL
Previously topping the list, rising K-pop girl group OH MY GIRL took second place this June. They were able to score a brand reputation index of 5,228,144.
Maintaining their seat at the third spot is YG Entertainment’s femme fatale quartet BLACKPINK. The girls scored a 4,574,999 brand reputation index.
