[theqoo] LEE JIHYE, FUMES OVER UNAUTHORIZED USE OF HER PHOTO "THAT'S NOT AN AD I SHOT"

On the 17th, Lee Jihye posted a message on her account stating, “This is not an ad I filmed,” and urged followers not to click on the link or make any purchases.

The photos released alongside the post show Lee Jihye promoting items such as sweet potatoes and underwear. At the bottom of the video, a screen indicating the source as her YouTube channel, “The Attention-Seeking Sister Who Isn’t Annoying,” catches the eye.

Lee Jihye warned again, saying, “It seems to link to a Chinese website,” and added, “It’s written in Korean, but if you look closely, you’ll notice something feels off.”

In response, netizens shared their experiences of nearly making actual purchases, commenting, “I kept seeing the bra ads, so I didn’t even suspect it was fake,” “I even searched for it today to buy one… I almost bought it, thank goodness,” and “No wonder, when I clicked the link, a page with weird machine translation popped up.”
