[instiz] THERE ARE SO MANY GAY CELEBRITIES IN THE US, BUT I FEEL LIKE KOREA HAS ESPECIALLY FEW OF THEM

There are also people that don’t seem gay and who turn out to be gay.

People like Sam Smith, Troye Sivan, etc. There are so any of those celebrities

I don’t feel like there’s a single male celebrity in our country who’s gay, meanwhile there are lots of gays in the arts industry. It’s interesting

1. It’s not that Korea “especially” has none of them, it’s more like they don’t wanna go public with it

2. Of course there are, they just don’t say it

3. It’s because if they say it…. They’ll be in a huge trouble…

4. It’s not like there’s none of them, it’s just that we don’t know who they are

5. If you try to make it obvious in a Confucian country like ours… There’s no benefits to it, US is pretty open on the other hand

6. The perception of gayness is totally different, do you think they’d want to come out?

7. There’s actually no need for them to come out

8. If they want a society that will allow them to come out, they’ll have to immigrate

9. They’ll get mocked if they revealed it, they rather not

10. It’s not like there’s none of them, it’s just that they can’t. They’ll get canceled right away
