It’s none other than Han Ye-seul, his co-star in “Penny Pitchers.”
In 2011, Song Joong-ki and Han Ye-seul acted together in the film “Penny Pinchers.” The movie is about the romance between a young man and a woman who becomes his savior with satirical comedy.
In the movie, the two showed off their passionate romance. Perhaps because of this, the two showed off a great chemistry in the production briefing press conference as well. Previously, Song Joong-ki and Han Ye-seul had already starred in the drama “Will It Snow For Christmas?” together.
At the press conference, Song Joong-ki surprised everyone, including Han Ye-seul, by saying, “I think Han Ye-seul is the prettiest female star in Korea.” When Han Ye-seul was surprised by the sudden confession, Song Joong-ki continued, “Do you like it? Doesn’t it sound like a scripted line? But I really do.”
Han Ye-seul told Song Joong-ki, “I felt that he was unique from the first time I saw him, so I believed he would do well. I’m proud to be called his senior.”
