On the 6th, Benjamin Bortmans, the designer behind the Antwerp-based fashion brand “Judassime,” uploaded a video to his social media account with the caption “Update.”

In the video, Benjamin Bortmans explained the situation, saying, “I just received word from the U.S. that everything is being resolved. Someone is scheduled to be sent to Korea to retrieve the items.”

This announcement confirmed that the situation is being resolved without incident. However, addressing some netizens who had sent him malicious messages, Benjamin Bortmans stated, “As designers, we invest a lot of time. It’s terrible to go six months without a response and without being respected. So I won’t apologize. I mentioned Jisoo’s name because I believed the entire team needed to treat future people better and address issues when they arise. If we hadn’t, we wouldn’t have gotten anything back,” he said, urging people to stop the criticism.

Benjamin Bortmans also posted another video, stating, “Here’s an update regarding the misunderstanding surrounding Jisoo’s situation.” In the video, Benjamin Bortmans explained, “It seems I’m receiving a lot of hateful messages online, but since I never attacked Jisoo, I wanted to set the record straight.” He added, “I only used Jisoo’s name to get a response from anyone on the team; I had absolutely no intention of attacking her.”

He explained, “I used her name because it was written here and there in emails regarding the shoot,” and added, “I’ve been in contact with the team, and everything is being resolved.” He also noted, “I was in a very emotional state at the time, and I think I spoke before thinking.
