[theqoo] (TW) DISABLED PEOPLE, PLEASE DON’T VOTE

“Police are blocking the way to the polls with shields. Representative Park Kyung-seok is barely able to stick his neck through the shields, screaming to open the way to vote.” (T/N: Park is a disabled person and also a humanitarian activist. He is currently the executive director of the National Federation for the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities and the head of the National Association for Public Jobs Customized for Persons with Severe Disabilities)

What is happening here?

For more context, this person was protesting 100 meters outside the polling place and the police stopped them.

And now he wanted to go vote after the protest, and they’re not allowing him to do that.
