Singer and actress Hyeri will wear a school uniform once again.

As a result of Star News’ exclusive coverage on the 6th, it was confirmed that Hyeri was cast in TVING’s original series ‘Fair Competition’.

‘Fair Competition’, based on the webtoon of the same name, follows Seulgi, who transfers to a prestigious girls’ high school in Seoul after the sudden death of her father, who was on the college entrance exam preparation committee, and becomes friends with Jay, the top student in her class and a powerful figure, but the closer she gets, the more she realizes Jay’s other side. Fair Competition is a GL and a mystery psychological thriller in which the secret of death is revealed.

In the play, Hyeri plays the role of Yoo Jay, who, although her looks are lacking, has a high IQ, competencies, and talent that make her enough. Unlike Woo Seulgi, who was bullied, Yoo Jay, lives as everyone’s wannabe. The story will depict without filter the risky process of the two gradually falling for each other while doubting and keeping each other in check as they share similar pains.

In particular, as ‘Fair Competition’ depicts the story of a teenager wandering around various addictions, it is expected to be released as a 19+ drama, showcasing some mature topics such as drugs, s***-harm, and mast**bation. The screenplay was written by writer Kim Taehee.
