Group BTS members RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will enlist together in mid-December.
According to Star News exclusive coverage on the 29th, RM and V will enter a training center somewhere in the rear on December 11th.
Jimin and Jungkook will then enter the same recruit training center together on December 12th, the next day.
On the 22nd, Big Hit Music, the agency, announced through the fan community platform Weverse, “We would like to inform the fans who always cherished and loved BTS that RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, that they have begun the process to fulfill their military service obligations. RM , Jimin, V, and Jungkook are preparing to fulfill their military service obligations. We will provide follow-up news regarding military enlistment as soon as it is decided.”
In addition, Big Hit Music said, “We ask for your warm support and unwavering love until the day RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook complete their military service and return in good health. We will not spare our continued support and affection for our artists.”
Meanwhile, BTS’s Jin, J-Hope, and Suga are completing their military service obligations. Jin, the eldest member of BTS, enlisted in the army in December 2021, and J-Hope enlisted in the army last April. Suga has been performing alternative military service as a social worker since last September.
Jin is scheduled to be discharged in June next year.
